Are you looking for new teen books by Christian authors? I’m constantly searching for clean contemporary, science fiction, romance, historical, and Christian fantasy books for teens and tweens—not only for my own kids but also for yours!
Hey, I’m Sara, and I love to share clean reading suggestions for teens and adults. As I discover new books, I’ll pass those on to you! Sign up now!
I aim to create an ongoing list of fiction titles published within the last several years. So far, my search has yielded some fantastic results!
I’ve read many of the books on this list, but some were suggested by trusted friends and even other Christian authors. Not all of these books contain a religious message. Some were written by a Christian author for a wider audience and read more like a clean, secular book. (Clean, meaning little to no language and no sex or sexual situations.)
Keep scrolling to see my suggestions for new young adult books by Christian authors, and check back often because I’ll be adding more. If you need more suggestions, take a look at the list my friend and I compiled in our blog post called Clean Books for Teens, Tweens, or Anyone (mostly secular authors). Happy reading!

Thank you so much for sharing this list! I’ll bookmark this page and will follow you on social media. Me too! I’d like to suggest my sci-fi miltary saga Blue Cluster Legends. I’m about to launch volume 4 in a few days. Yes, there’s a very intense romance within the story but absolute NO SPICE or explicit scenes… in fact… I haven’t written anything of the sort yet since I dread my mom reading it. Besides, I don’t feel comfortable knowing Jesus is watching, LOL.
BTW, Blue Cluster Legends are big macho giant robots fighting alien kaiju. The only sad part is that is not translated to English yet. 🙁
Thanks for the list!
Hi Sara, thanks for making this list!
I’d like to shamelessly suggest my YA superhero/ coming of age book, Becoming Glitch.
It’s not an overtly Christian Fiction book, but it’s clean (feel free to sort through the Amazon reviews to verify that), YA (and New Adult) friendly, and the values are there if you look for them.
For what it’s worth, the ebook may also be $0.99 Monday Oct 23, 2023
